let's go fly a kite!

So what's new with us? Jake got his highchair. I saw my sister Jess have one of these and liked how small and easy it was. I've seen all the huge bulky high chairs and didn't really want that plus this can travel easily and we can just attach it to any old chair wherever we are so it's pretty convenient :) I also like how there aren't any joints/cracks in the seat part/crevices if you will so you can clean it completely without any crumbs getting stuck etc. Jake loves it and he's finally happy/content during dinner/we don't have to hold him-he wasn't loving the bumbo anymore.

it's a lot easier to feed him too haha.

We're having typical spring weather-ya know, one minute you're freezing , the next you're commenting on how beautiful the day is etc. here's jake before our walk (I think he looks like some kind of super hero haha)

Jake's favorite thing to get to is either our phones or the remotes-whichever is closest. I tried to fight it, but now I just make sure he has the remote that won't effect whatever we're watching.

Jake is also ridiculous in how he is able to get around even though he technically doesn't know how to crawl yet. Here he is, proud of himself for making it all the way to the kitchen (he was on the other side of the couch with his toys when I left him). He rolled the whole way...it's really quite amazing that he doesn't get dizzy.

For our friday date night this week had a chill evening with Jake. I saw a cool dinosaur (sorry, "terrorsaur") kite at walgreens for 2 bucks and thought to myself why not. Jake was absolutely MESMERIZED by the packaging haha. He had a death grip on that thing, and either wanted to be touching it or looking at it the whole time so it rode with him in his stroller over to the park.
