Whirl wind of June

I can't believe June is already over!  It's amazing how much we were able to pack in this month.  After we got Megan settled in at school our family from Georgia came up to spend a few days with us before the Hunt family reunion in Monticello.  Jake had a lot of firsts.  He went swimming for the first time which was WAY fun!  He got his first haircut (a trim in the back but he did great), and had fun on a hike.

We went to stuart falls and had a fun hike-though it started to rain half way through and poor jake didn't have shoes cause his mommy thought it would be warm, but he survived :)

Swimming at the Payson Pool! Jake really liked his floaty-and I liked it cause it gave him shade and supported him well.  Everyone who saw him had to comment on it- "I wish they had those in my day!"

The next day we went to Ogden but stopped at the City Creek Mall and Crown Burger on the way.  Here's Jake chilling with Grandpa at the mall.

Jake's first haircut! He didn't cry or anything-I honestly don't think he had any idea of what was going on, and it helped that he had a bright tarp to look at.  Plus, it was aunt Liz-how could you be scared when you're in the hands of the expert?

Cody went out to jump on this trampoline with the kids and he was the first to jump.  After a few jumps he fell right through it.  Needless to say it was an OLD trampoline.

Then it was off to Monticello Utah for the Hunt reunion...we may have been rushing a lil...

They had lots of fun water games up on the mountain.

There was a cool raffle where everyone brought something and you could buy tickets to enter for the items.  We won a BBQ tool set which Code really wanted :)

Needless to say we'll enjoy the next few relaxing weeks before it starts all over with the Richards' reunion in July!
