We survived!

What did we survive you wonder?  Our first kid getting sick for the first time.  It was tough to see him feeling so crummy but all and all he was still pretty accepting of it.  The worst days he was happy as long as we held him and cuddled which was kinda nice cause he's rarely content to sit still.  I'd say he was sick for about 4ish days with your typical symptoms: stuffy/runny nose, cranky/tired, and one day he kept running low grade fevers, but he's almost good as new now.  He just still has a runny nose but he never developed a cough or anything.

Luckily our disney movies from the disney movie club FINALLY made it to us-they of course were delivered to our apartment (2.5 months after ordering them) the day AFTER we moved out.  But grandma Kathy was kind enough to go pick them up for us and mail them to us.  They went a long way to distracting Jake.  As near as I can tell Cars was his favorite-likes the engine noises, but we haven't watched any of the toy stories so we'll see.

We're happy to have our semi-healthy/happy boy back, but now I've been fighting cold like feelings the past few days (great let the sick cycle begin!)
