Our Move to Texas

I can't believe Whitney and I are both graduated and moved out of Provo. It's crazy how fast these things happen. One day we're going to school and taking exams, the next day both sets of parents are in town. The next day we're moving out, and the following day we're in Houston. Sheesh!

Moving was actually pretty easy for us. The movers showed up at 8:30 in the morning and started packing up everything into boxes. At 9:30 the car transport guy showed up and loaded up our car onto the truck. By 12:30 our apartment was completely moved out and Whitney and I started to clean for our final checkout. At 3:30 we turned over our keys and drove away from our first apartment...forever.

I'm so excited to be here in Texas. It's perfect weather right now -- pretty humid, but nice temperatures in the 70's. I'm sure that it will warm up fast, though.

Anyway, this blog is now going to be our home for all of our adventures now that we're moved to Texas. Stay tuned and we'll see how often we update!

Brazos Bend State Park

Brazos Bend State Park is a couple miles away from Whitney’s parents house. It’s home of the largest quantity of wild alligators west of louisiana (or something like that).

There are tons of warning signs everywhere telling you what to do if you encounter a gator. And guess what — we had several encounters! One of the funnest afternoons in a while.
