2 weeks old!

I can't believe our jacob is already 2 weeks old!  I don't know exactly how much he weighs now cause we had our "2 week" appointment at one week to make sure he was gaining enough weight etc which he was- he was already half way back to his birth weight and he's kept eatng good since so i'm assuming that he's back to his birth weight (7.6) if not passed it already. Maybe i'll try to weigh him on our kitchen scale.... :)

Things that we've learned about jacob so far: he makes the weirdest little high-pitched sounds! he likes to really move around.  Even in his sleep he's constantly moving his arms and fingers around-seems very restless-maybe will take after his dad's sleeping habits? we'll see...

He likes/hates tummy time.  He can lift his head up while on his stomach for a few seconds and turn his head from side to side while on his stomach.  His chord is this close to coming off (can't wait for that! then we don't have to fold over his diapers which I think leads to half of his accidents).

Speaking of accidents-he has yet to pee on me-he's a gentleman and if he feels the urge to go while I'm changing him, he pees on himself.

He loves to just stare at you when he's in a chill awake state-which happens 2ish times a day, otherwise he's sleeping or wanting to eat.

He's not a lover of his sponge baths which I'm curious to see how he'll like regular submerged baths.

He likes riding in the car and will quickly conk out the second we get going.

He still doesn't fit in a lot of new born clothes yet so we wash the few outfits he fits into frequently.

He has a 1000 different facial expressions-very expressive.  My favorites: the power pout-so sad looking it will make you laugh, his half smile, he draws his mouth up into this lil "o" and it looks like he's whistling or something, and the raising of the one eyebrow.
