Spring has sprung

well...sort of.  If you know anyone who lives in utah then you've probably already seen how we got random snow last night (no biggie it's already melted).  We've gotten a lot of cloudy days/rain lately which I love!

This weekend we stopped by the Bijou market-just a local boutique that let a bunch of local crafty/etsy shop owners sell their stuff.  It was pretty cool-lots of cute stuff, but 99.9% of it was for lil girls haha so we just looked-it was probably for the best cause it was all pretty expensive.

jake wasn't very impressed :)

Then we went to Thanksgiving point which started it's annual tulip festival where they import tons of tulips from holland.  They aren't all in bloom yet but the ones that were were very pretty!

They had some huge goldfish and the kids were feeding them

forget-me-nots! (I think?)

there were red tulips spiraling around this hill which looked pretty cool (the pic doesn't do it justice)

silly face! always sticking out his tongue lately...

cool water feature

cool manmade waterfalls

Then Sunday we just had a fun chill day together playing on the foor :) Church was good and our lesson went well though we didn't really have time to change jake cause we switch back and forth with our teaching and each section is pretty short-at least not long enough to cover a diaper change, and we thought we could make it to 3rd hour-nope.  big wet spot on my skirt/shirt.  Oh well, not too bad if that's the first accident we ever had in church in 8 months!

Hope you're enjoying the nice spring weather!

  1. I love Thanksgiving Point this time of year. We did Anna's bridal photos there a year ago, near the fountains and various places, and then did the tulip tour. So beautiful. (This is Linda Nuttall, in case you don't know my blog name.)
