Jacob's Super 4th Bday Party!

We had Jacob's friend birthday party today and it was Superhero themed.  We started out by suiting up and decorating our Superhero costumes.

I found really cute ideas on Pinterest and the best part?  No need for a sewing machine.  It was so easy to make the capes!  I just had to cut up some t-shirts, and glue some felt and used adhesive foam, and wa-lah- you have a superhero!

Remember how I said no sewing machine?  Yeah, velcro spots- love it!

I cut out the first letters of the kids' names in sparkly adhesive foam sheets and apparently failed to take pics of that.  And got masks from Michaels
Ready to Decorate! (the boys were already done decorating by the time we remembered to pull out our cameras and some of them were purists- no bling!). I had a cape at every seat with different foam stickers they could put on or jewels etc.  It looked so cute and it was right as kiddos were arriving so I got distracted and didn't take a picture of the setup.

(it wasn't until later that we realized, tho out of order, Jake asked code to write all of the letters in his name :)

Now we're ready to go to Superhero Training Camp!
