DC Day 1

So here you will see the crazy pack-filled day of our first day in DC.  It was a lot of fun but I don't know when the last time was that my legs were so utterly exhausted.  We rode a bus to a metro station outside of town and then took the metro in to avoid the crazy parking during the week.  The highlights were: The Haulocost museum, George Washington Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean/WWII/Vietnam memorials, Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, the Freer Gallery of Art where we saw whistler's peacock room-pretty cool, walked by the white house, and saw the arlington cemetery to see the changing of the gaurd at the tomb of the unknown soldier.

We were so exhausted from our first day that the next day we slept in and went to the DC temple and that was it-it was wonderful.

More to come!
