We stayed at the T bar M ranch resort-basically just a bunch of condos and some cool immenities. It was way fun to see everyone, and even Cody took some time off to come up and spend a day with the family. The highlights were seeing all of the lil great grandkids playing with each other-the girls were so excited to have some girls to play with (there's a lot of boys in the family). They quickly made a "girls only" table and proceeded to attempt to kick Mike off the table, but he wasn't budging :)
The younger kids went to a local ranch with live shows and animals etc. while the older bunch went to Schlitterbahn-a premier water park with entirely too long of lines, but it was still fun. Randomly enough I only got sunburned on my elbows so it's forced me to have better manners at the dinner table.
When Cody got in we went to a local mexican restaurant called mamasitas that was way good and a cool atmosphere. of course the portion sizes were ridiculously large (as they always are in texas). I think Code and I are learning that we need to order one thing and share to save money and our waistlines.
The kids also had fun swimming in the pools and doing some great crafts provided by our aunt Susan
Uncle Scott provided some "fun with science" for everyone that the kids absolutely loved involving compressed air and water. Benson was the first volunteer and pushed like a champ:
