Last weekend found us in good ol' Vegas for our first anniversary. It's very exciting cause now I can say that I've known Cody for years (plural!) haha but it was absolutely amazing-as all things that cody plans are :)
Here are some pics of the strip and our amazing hotel the palazzo (highly recommend this one!!!!). It's newer than most casinos on the strip so the smokey smell hasn't pervaded through everything like some of the others :)

of course there was gelato everywhere which we just had to try-it was amazing, tho I'm sure not as amazing as the gelato Chels will get to eat in italy soon!
We went to the RIO for the best buffet in vegas. If you know me very well at all you know that I don't generally like buffets whether it's "golden" or has the word "chuck" in the title etc. I dunno... I just don't eat much so it seems like a waste to me, but I get the concept. Well, the Rio's buffet changed my mind. I finally realized that I could have quality AND quantity. It was way good though their dessert selection could have been a bit larger, but I get that most people are too full for that part of the buffet anyways ;)

I can just see your dad now getting totally creeped out when he sees the chocolate fountain! hah! Looks like you had an awesome trip. Happy Anniversary!!!
