June- The Noldens visit!

We were lucky to be able to see our family from Georgia as they brought their next daughter, Mikayla, to Weber St.  as well as for a 50th anniversary party for Gpa and Gma Slade.  Jake was in heaven the whole time and ESPECIALLY was excited to be around, in the arms of, or playing with his "Gampa".  That boy has a thing for his grandpas.  Gma Shayne or Kathy could be holding their arms out to him and he'll walk right past them, unseeing, right to his Grandpa Frank or Gary.  It would be really crazy if both were in the same room, each calling him-I'd have no idea who he'd go to haha.

It was a fun trip with mostly hanging out for a few days here in Springville, a day in Ogden with the Brownes, and then a weekend in monticello for the party.  We also managed to get some family pics done thanks to our friend Tyler Lewis.

they're all kinda jumbled in order but while we were in springville we hung around the house, roasted smores, visited megan at her work, and ate out at cafe rio and went up to salt lake to the city creek center.

It was cool that they were here for fathers' day- this is us encouraging jake to give code his present.  Knowing it was some kind of candy, jake was hesitant to give it up :)

The weekend at Monticello:

apparently they used jake as an alarm for mikayla :)

we went with Liz to receive her endowments at the Monticello temple which was awesome!

It was fun spending time together and catching up-now more of the kids are out here in utah than back home in GA so we think we'll see gpa and gma a lot more often :)
