June

Well, since last post seemed long enough I left out one last activity in May- Father and Sons campout!  It makes me happy to see Code so happy to have Jake that he can do all these fun types of things with.  They didn't stay the night this year but they went up and hung out with the guys and ate smores etc.
They had it at a nice park area rather than out in the boonies which was nice cause Jake liked the swing set etc to play on.

Yeah, pretty dang beautiful.  I love Utah for that reason.  i don't think I'll ever get tired of the mountains and all the cool recreational stuff there is to do around here.

Frolicking in the field:

Back when you had to wear a jacket at night-hard to imagine right now.

playing on the playground:

there was a lil stream that ran through the area and apparently Jake is fascinated.  Probably because we go on walks along hobble creek and we let him throw rocks in the water-instantly was hooked.

Early in June we had lots of fun and tried new things.  We went to the Farmland place up at Thanksgiving Pointe.  Jake loved all of the animals and especially riding in the horse-drawn wagon (it was pretty slow and boring, but he loved it).

There was an "old western" style jail you could walk in- I didn't see the connection but hey, it makes for a good pic right?

Jake also went to his first movie in a movie theatre.  At the water gardens theatre in Spanish Fork (the 3$ one), they have a summer program where tue-thur you can go in the afternoon for 1$ a person to see different older kids movies from how to train your dragon to An American Tail, AND all concessions are 1$.  Jake loved it and didn't even cry when scary parts happened (We saw how to train) tho he did jump a few times haha, but he was totally absorbed, and loved it.

We went to Art City Days here in Springville and a festival they had at the springville museum of art that was AWESOME with free crafts, face paint, balloon animals etc.  It was hot but fun.

we colored some sunglasses

we got a dinosaur drawn on his hand

 BYU!

 a rocket!

we tried to go to the splash pad- he liked it last summer, but still hasn't warmed up to it yet.  We haven't gone swimming yet but I def think he'll like that- we need to get on that.
