fun date-filled weekend

This past weekend we had SO much fun and most of it was thanks to family for babysitting for us (megan and steve!).  Code and I hadn't been out on a real date sans kiddo in a long time.  Friday night Uncle Steve came over to watch J allowing us to go out to Mamasita's in Provo (was pretty good) and to see the giver in the 3$ theatre in Spanish Fork.  It was really fun and odd to be out having an adult night haha.  Then the next day we went up to Gardner's Village in West Jordan for their Witchy Weekend events.  They had this lil automated broom ride that you walked through a mini "witch museum" they had put together.  It was cute-Jake was freaking out all the way until we got into the lil room and climbed on the brooms and then yelled "horsey!" as they rocked back and forth infront of a projector.  a lil hokey?  yes, but still fun :)  Then we took Jake on a 10 min horsey ride around the grounds that we waited FOREVER for so we didn't really have time to do anything else haha, but it was still fun :)

I know J looks very serious in these pics but he was seriously over the moon happy the entire time:

Then that night Aunt Megan came over and Code and I went to the BYU football homecoming game.  We scored some tickets from our Burningham cousins-thanks guys!  and they have great seats and an AMAZING parking pass-got to park right next to the stadium (I am my father's daughter I guess cause it made me very excited).  It was fun until the fourth quarter-sigh.

Either way it was a fun weekend! Stay tuned for more fun :)
