Here's what we've been up to lately:
Jake is loving his preschool and marches right in every time now. Next week he gets to wear his costume to class and they'll go on a hayride and have a party which I'm sure he'll love. Lately he is obsessed with hay and "punkins" ghosts witches-you get the idea. We drive by Jaker's pumpkin patch to get to I-15 and he goes crazy every time shouting "hay!" "pigs!" and "slides!" (we've been many times, lest you think we never go). He's talking mostly in phrases now stringing more and more words together. It's fun to see him growing up so fast. His new obsession (slightly encouraged by me so he'd like his halloween costume) is toy story. He even took his nap with the dvd case today cause I didn't feel like dealing with the tantrum that would have resulted in taking said case away :) We bought him a buzz toy to give to him once his lil brother comes to soften the blow, but the way things are going I'm sorely tempted to give it to him now so he'll play with it rather than beg to watch toy story all day long/every day. Let's just say it's sure to be a Toy Story xmas around here :)
Code is doing great at work and is busy as ever which is a good thing. They're gaining more clients and hopefully they'll keep selling/growing-it'd be nice for Code to have more people under him to delegate to. He's a great help to me around the house and def lets me relax which this pregnant momma is grateful for :)
I have basically been geeking out on halloween stuff all month (ok, and some of last month too). I've had fun decorating our house for the first time. I'm throwing a lil toddler halloween party for Jake and some of his friends from the neighborhood on Thursday so I'll be sure to post on that. I can't believe Halloween is 2 weeks away! Both Code and I have been to a few football games-tho it's a bit of a sad subject now, sigh seems the only breaks we can catch are our star players...literally :( oh well.
Here's some pics from the natural history museum/cabella's/and jaker's pumpkin patch:
here's our mini pumpkin patch on the front porch-we basically have to visit every day:
